Northampton’s very own slowthai has just dropped his latest visuals for “Toaster” from his Mercury Prize nominated album, Nothing Great About Britain.
With the flawless album containing so many different sounds, energies and versatility, slowthai decided to take his fans on a nostalgic tour of his childhood home, where we see the rapper giving a short description of his memories and feelings of his old house; while dipping in and out of performing his laid back tune, “Toaster”.
While the video isn’t a conventional one you would expect from a recording artist, the visuals break down the song effectively and prove that there is more layers to the song than what just meets the ears.
