A baby-friendly Snoop Dogg album is due to be released just in time for Christmas. Look out for Snoop’s new project, Lullaby Renditions of Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg is most famous for his hip-hop hits “Gin and Juice”, “What’s My Name”, “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and “Beautiful” featuring Pharrell and Charlie Wilson.

Perhaps you might be more familiar with Snoop’s reggae tracks under the alias Snoop Lion which saw the artist drop the album Reincarnated and call on Popcaan and Mavado for collaborations.

Many will have seen Snoop Dogg’s cooking show with Martha Stewart and will associate the artist with his love affair with weed. Maybe you have a stash of Snoop Dogg’s rolling papers or a collection of his grinders.

As versatile as Snoop Dogg is, it can definitely be said that no one saw this new venture coming.

Rockabye Baby are famous for turning some of the most popular chart tracks into reworked baby-friendly versions. Their YouTube page boasts new versions of tracks from Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Outkast, U2 and even Drake!

Check out their version of “Hotline Bling” below which casts a teddy bear in the role of Drizzy complete with his iconic choreography.

Snoop Dogg’s special album will arrive on the 6th of December and will feature ten of Snoop’s most prolific tracks including “Beautiful”, “Drop It Like It’s Hot”, “Doggy Dog World”, “What’s My Name” and “Sensual Seduction”.

As we wait for Snoop’s new lullaby album to treat the younger generation to his artistry, listen to “Gin and Juice” from the release below.

When you’re done, watch Snoop join Tory Lanez in the visuals for “Beauty in the Benz”. Be warned though, this track is not baby-friendly!
