Following the release of the previous Sonic the Hedgehog trailer, critics and fans were not very impressed. With the animated appearance of Sonic himself being laughed at, the overall story line and comical value of the movie was not received well.
With this being said, Paramount Pictures and the Sonic the Hedgehog team have released a second trailer in the hope of representing the movie in a better light. This time around, we see some snippets of what Sonic is known for, with clips of him running at his extreme pace collecting the golden rings.
This edition seems to be targeting a more comical angle, the overall reception from the new trailer has been received much better according to the YouTube comments.
