To keep us hyped for the release of the PlayStation 5, Sony have now revealed the controller for the upcoming console.
Named the DualSense, the controller was announced on PlayStation.blog and will include “much of what gamers love about DualShock 4 intact, while also adding new functionality and refining the design.”
Sony said the feedback on theDualSense will add “ a variety of powerful sensations you’ll feel when you play, such as the slow grittiness of driving a car through mud”. The L2 and R2 buttons on the controller will also allow players to “feel the tension of your actions, like when drawing a bow to shoot an arrow.”
The controller will also feature a built-in microphone for players without a headset, a strong battery life and more impressive features.
Gamers will be able to enjoy all the perks of the controller when the PlayStation 5 is released towards the end of this year.
