Sony’s Playstation 5 flew off the shelves last November and has been one of the most in-demand consoles in history.

Sony has said that even though they are aware of the demand for the gaming console and that they could set the price point very high, they have opted to sell the console at a loss.

This was the result of a “strategic price point” which was used to sabotage the Xbox console which was released at the same time.

Sony has shipped over 4 million consoles since its release with the highly sought after gaming system selling out faster than they could be manufactured.

Many have struggled to get their hands on the new Playstation with big retailers like Curry’s, Game and Argos constantly selling out almost instantly.

Some gamers though have been lucky like ZHC who bought a 10ft version for £50K.
