Soulja Boy appeared on The Breakfast Club and discussed his past scandals, his 2018 comeback and his feud with Drake.
The rapper detailed his struggles with his public image and expressed his annoyance that his impact on hip-hop is ignored and played down. The rapper who used the internet to build his rap career in 2007 and release the global hit “Crank That (Soulja Boy)”, told Charlamagne, DJ Envy and Angela Yee that he helped to launch the careers of Chief Keef, Rich The Kid and Famous Dex amoung many others.
Soulja also takes aim at Drake and claims that he taught the Canadian artist, “Everything he knows”. Soulja compares the lyrics of Drake’s track “Miss Me” with his own on his 2007 track “What’s Hannenin”.
Soulja also takes aim at Tyga, Meek Mill and Kanye West.
