The sequel to the classic 1996 Space Jam film has finally got a title and a logo!
Taking to his socials, the film’s star LeBron James shared a video showing off his new hat that features the title ‘Space Jam 2: A New Legacy’.
Arriving 25 years after the original, the long-awaited sequel is expected to feature a well-known cast of NBA and WNBA stars, including NBA star LeBron James. Other confirmed cast members include The Avengers’ Don Cheadle and Star Trek Discovery’s Sonequa Martin-Green.
The original film focused around Michael Jordan, who the Looney Tunes tried to lure out of retirement to play an epic basketball game against the Monstars, a team of aliens who stole the abilities of some of the NBA’s biggest stars.
Directed by Malcolm D. Lee and produced by Black Panther’s Ryan Coogler, Space Jam 2: A New Legacy is set to hit cinemas July 2021 but you can catch the original Space Jam film on Netflix now.
