Splash, Germany’s urban festival, will commence this week on Thursday the 11th of July and will go on over the weekend until Saturday the 13th.

The flagship European urban event launched in 1998 as an indoor festival and has since evolved into an outdoor extravaganza which is located an hour South of Berlin in Ferropolis.

Splash Festival will take place near a lake which allows for festival goers to cool off after seeing the fiery acts on the line-up.

This year’s Splash Festival will see Atlanta hailing rapper Young Thug headline the event after releasing a series of mixtapes and chart-topping albums.

Joining Thugga will be Future, A$AP Rocky, Skepta, Chance the Rapper, Future, Lil Baby, Rich the Kid, Gunna, AJ Tracey, Yxng Bane, Ramz and more.

Skepta recently released his album Ignorance is Bliss and will likely delight the crowd to fan favourites from the project including “Greaze Mode”, “Bullet From a Gun” and “Love Me Not”.

AJ Tracey’s performance will also follow the release of a project; his self-titled album which dropped in February and housed the hits “Butterflies” and “Ladbroke Grove”.

Other artists on the line-up include the supergroup Brockhampton, Sheck Wes and $uicideboy$.

The festival will also host German homegrown superstars alongside the global talent; lookout for sets from Trettman, SSIO and LGoony at the festival.
