Barack Obama is set to become unemployed this month. However, Spotify have him covered by indirectly offering him a job as ‘President of Playlists’.
Whilst they haven’t specifically offered the newly-promoted vacancy to the man himself, they state the successful applicant has to have “at least eight years of experience running a highly-regarded nation”.
Spotify CEO Daniel Ek indicated this to Obama saying: “I heard you were interested in a role at Spotify. Have you seen this one?” before linking to the ad.
The musical hub also send sly shots at Donald Trump by stating the ‘President of Playlists’ must “attend daily briefings”, and “analyze data and performance of playlists … using all available intelligence”.
We think that Obama would suit his new role well. What would make his playlists? We’re hearing he’s a big 67 fan. Maybe he’ll “Take It There”… we’ll see.
