Man Like H & KayGee – “One In A Million”

Hard-hitting from the onset, “One In A Million” sees Man Like H and KayGee joining forces again for authentic grime track. The derby rappers trade mad flows and top tier bars with fellow rapper and previous collaborator Eyez on the production.

“Continuing to fly the flag for Derby grime, KayGee and Man Like H bring us yet another vibrant grime track we can vibe to. The pair lay down sick flows over a mad instrumental supplied by none other than Eyez. I’ve been following them both for some time now and the progression is clear to see!” – Adam Dee (Writer) (@adamdee96)

AM – “Trust Issues”

With AM and Skengdo currently in a spree of music releases, “Trust Issues” sees AM go solo and switch lanes. Spitting over a sweet-sounding mellow beat, AM’s bars are isolated giving them a chance to really resonate with people. A raw and honest track that touches on deep topics providing a good b-side to the Valentine’s day drops.

“AM’s new freestyle was teased a while ago on social media and he chose the perfect time to finally release the full track. The sad but relatable lyrics about heartbreak make the freestyle the perfect anti-valentine’s day anthem and it was great to see a slight change in style from the artist.   – Naimah Archibald – Powell (Writer) (@naimahrebelle)

Ghostface Killah – “Morning Ritual ft. Kendra Morris”

A feature of the Czarface Meets Ghostface Killah tape, this track sees both Ghostface Killah and Czarface go back to back. Laying down robust bars for an eerie hardcore track, “Morning Ritual” showcases Wu Tang Clan’s Ghostfae Killah’s spitting prowess.

“One of the hottest tracks off the fresh Czarface Ghostface Killah collaborative album although there are still plenty more bangers on there” – Mike Spyrou (Writer) (@spizzgeta)

AJ Tracey – “Necklace ft. Jay Critch”

This trans-atlantic link up sees AJ Tracey enlist Jay Critch for a laid-back vibey track. Both rappers show their ability to straddle lanes with this one, with AJ giving us vocals on the hook and a UK take on an Atlanta style of rap. A braggadocios but chill track.

“Collaborating to harmonise their melodic, soothing flow to match the soft instrumental, Jay & AJ bring us “Necklace” straight from AJ Tracey’s multi-genre, self-titled album. It’s a personal favourite and a whole new vibe to what we’re used to from AJ and Jay.”  – Amal Al Tauqi (Writer) (@altxuqi)

Pivot Gang – “Jason Statham Pt. 2”

Serving as the first instalment of music ahead of hip-hop collective Pivot Gang’s upcoming album. This one sees the members go bar for bar in a fun up-tempo track, spitting over a trap-like beat for a sweet and short tune.

“I’ve been a fan of Saba’s solo stuff anyway but definitely happy to hear that he and the rest of Pivot Gang are due to release their first album since 2013, especially if it’s going to sound like this! –

GBNGA – “Cherry B ft. Gxnxsis”

North London rapper’s latest track “Cherry B” is combines a chilled whimsical beat with an effortless flow making for an impressive repeatable track. Creative visuals with its lit, trippy LED lights creates the perfect mood for the track. Gxnxsis provides a wavey guest verse with the two bouncing off each other well.

“GBNGA, rising artist drops a wavy mellow rhythm featuring Gxnxsis. “Cherry B” has such a nostalgic feel to it. Perfect for those chilled, late nights. Not only is the song a vibe, the visuals are just as picturesque setting the ultimate mood!” – Essence Madziwa (Writer)(@_essencex)
