The highly anticipated trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX has just been released.
The film will mark the third and final instalment in the recent Skywalker trilogy which saw the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
This new film, also known as Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was announced back in 2012 but creative differences and logistics hindered its progress. The film is currently scheduled to be released in December of this year.
Set to star Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o and John Boyega, the film will see the actors reprise their roles from earlier films in the series.
