Stefflon Don has jumped into the Nicki Minaj vs. Cardi B beef and the femcee has picked a side; Steff appears to be on team Cardi.
Steff responded to Nicki Minaj’s comment on a post by American blog TheShadeRoom where Nicki referenced her infamous fight with Cardi B at the Harpers Bazaar Fashion week party where the two got into an altercation which led to Cardi throwing a shoe at Minaj. Nicki wrote in a comment directed at Cardi B, “Stop trying to distract everyone about the fact that you lied about Rah beating your head in”. Stefflon Don replied to the comment and said, “ur a big grown woman talking about beating someone’s head in???? QUEEN???? I’m disappointed in you so many people look up to you show us better”.
Steff’s comment has led to a heavy backlash from Nicki Minaj fans on Instagram who have flooded the comments of her latest post.
Steff later took aim at Nicki Minaj fans who call themselves ‘The Barbz’ and defended herself via her Instagram story. Steff wrote, “Got something coming for these dutty Garbs I mean Barbs soon”.
Steff also said, “Yes I said I am disappointed in her because the gyal old enough to be someone’s granmother (sic) and I hate a hating black harted (sic) person”. See more from her Instagram stories rant below.
Stefflon Don’s reaction follows Nicki Minaj’s recent episode of her Beats 1 radio show where the rapper responded to recent allegations by Cardi B and her sister Hennessy that she leaked their mobile numbers and encouraged her fans to verbally attack them. Nicki then claimed that Cardi B worked behind the scenes to prevent 21 Savage and Offset from filming music videos to their collaborations “Krippy Kush” and “No Flag” and that Cardi asked her for a verse for the second single off Cardi’s album Invasion of Privacy.
Cardi later responded to Minaj via a series of Instagram videos in which Cardi claims she turned down Nicki’s recent deal with fashion brand Diesel and that she declined to feature on Little Mix’s new single “Woman Like Me” which Minaj is featured on.
