Following the huge impact of the inaugural tournament in 2024, the grassroots football competition returns with a bigger platform, heightened competition, and a once-in-a-lifetime prize for the city’s top team.
Designed to celebrate London’s thriving grassroots football culture, the expanded 3v3 tournament will see teams from across the capital battle it out for the chance to win a trip to the FIFA World Cup 2026. The winning trio will travel to New Jersey to watch England national football team take on Panama national football team on one of football’s biggest stages.
To announce the tournament’s return, adidas and Stormzy unveiled a high-energy campaign film featuring a cameo appearance from former footballer and broadcaster Micah Richards. Packed with humour, pace, and raw London energy, the visual pays tribute to the spirit of free play and the countless football stories born on estates, cages, backstreets, and local pitches across the city.
