The Wicked Skengman. Always full of surprises and never one to limit himself to a single genre, Stormzy joins Nick Jonas to deliver a remix of the Nick Jonas’ hit “Chains”, premiering as a world exclusive over on MistaJam’s 1Xtra show last night.
Many were shocked to be seeing the collaboration happening, after MistaJam took to Twitter to announce the exclusive:
Rarely one to stay quiet about his abilities, Stormzy was very quick in response on Twitter to silence those that doubted his versatility by dropping links to tracks of his that prove he isn’t just about bars, reminding his fans about ‘The Only One’, ‘All That Matters’ and ‘The Worst’ (a remix of the Jhene Aiko track).
Stormzy then went on to remind everyone that, as the Wicked Skengman, he can bring the Skeng to anything. Give him a pop tune, and guess what? Stormzy will bring the Skeng. An opera tune? Yep, you guessed it – SKENG. Your Mum’s tune or a classical tune. Yes. Skeng. Because Stormzy is FEARLESS.
