Last night, the letters ‘H.I.T.H’ appeared on a billboard above Shoreditch High Street station which just so happens to be the believed acronym for the title of Stormzy’s upcoming album.
As fans begin to speculate the imminent release of his latest project, a firm favourite for the name of the album is “Heavy Is The Head” and judging by the new billboards, they might just be on to something!
Speculation regarding the association between ‘H.I.T.H’ and Stormzy’s album comes as the same letters also appear at the end of Big Mike’s recent video for “Wiley Flow”.
At his Thorpe Park takeover on November 7, Stormzy revealed that he has almost finished his second album. As he addressed the crowd made up of his friends and fans, he said: “At literally 6 am in the morning, I literally finished the final vocal for my album.”
Two years after his 2017 debut album Gang Signs & Prayer and the success of his latest singles “Sounds of the Skeng” “Crown” and “Vossi Bop”, which also clocked up the biggest week of streams ever for a rapper, we’re definitely expecting big things to come from the LP.
