A new study from two leading think tanks has revealed how inequality and structural racism have put people from ethnic minorities at greater risk from coronavirus.
The research by the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) and the Runnymede Trust says factors such as overcrowded housing and income inequality has increased the risk of death from coronavirus for people from minority ethnic groups.
The report, which was exclusively shared to Channel 4, also calls for the government to take urgent action to protect the lives of people from communities who are at greater risk of dying from Covid-19.
