Study says these Premier League football clubs are the “unluckiest” in Europe

Several Premier League teams are some of the “unluckiest” clubs in Eurpe, according to a study by casino guide casinoarabi.io.

The research analysed the latest injury data available and ranked 98 clubs by the combined total number of games players have missed due to injury.

FC Köln topped the list with 156 absences due to injury. The German club was followed closely by Premier League side Liverpool, who ranked second with a combined total of 151 games missed due to injury.

Last season’s Serie A champions, AC Milan, ranked third with players missing a combined total of 140 games. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – a star man for them – was among those who missed 24 games. UC Sampdoria came in fourth, with players missing a combined total of 137 games. Meanwhile, Chelsea ranked fifth with players missing 137 games.

Bundesliga clubs FC Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg ranked sixth and seventh with 136 and 135 games missed respectively. In La Liga, Real Sociedad players missed the most games with a total of 135. Manchester United ranked tenth with players missing a combined total of 133 games, including Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek who missed more than 20 games.

Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayern Munich also made it to the top 15, with players from these European giants missing 125, 124, and 115 games respectively.

This study highlights the significant impact of injuries on teams’ performances and their ability to compete in top-level competitions.
