Spoken word is often a part of hip hop culture that often gets overlooked, and with artists like Suli Breaks, we are the ones losing out by sleeping on them.
Suli Breaks is easily one of the greatest spoken word artists that the UK has ever seen. His vivid imagery on existential issues is such a welcome change to the often unoriginal hype that currently floods the market. On “The Graveyard” Suli Breaks is helped by an incredible saxophone accompaniment that provides a soothing, almost intoxicating backdrop to Suli’s deep thought provoking poetry.
With a show coming up in a couple of weeks Suli Breaks is certainly not someone you’d want to miss out on.
