To mark the release of his new collaborative NFT project, Suspect OTB has dropped visuals for “Brick By Brick”.
For the past few months Suspect has been teasing his special NFT, ‘Release Mee’, with Stephen Mee – a former convict-turned-artist.
The collab is a collection of 277 unique NFTs in the form of a brick which is a digital recreation of Stephen’s physical exhibition, and inspired by his former 6×6 prison cell.
Each brick sold will also come with an unreleased Suspect track, while holders of the NFT will also gain music royalties to the rapper’s music thanks to blockchain technology.
“The song is about reimagining the meaning of the bricks that are now being represented as NFTs and building the foundations for Stephen and I to connect others creating art in this digital world”, Suspect said.
Mee added: “Taking the bricks that formed my prison cell into the digital space as NFTs represents the idea of rebuilding a life in the metaverse. A place to create something new.”
