It’s been a while since we got some fresh material from the legend that is Sway Dasafo but he’s about to make his big return with new music.
The rapper took to Instagram to announce his upcoming joint album with Jaguar Skills, writing: New album out next week. May 1st 2020 […] This is a joint collaboration. Brillionaires = @swaydasafo & @djjagskills […] Some of you haven’t heard me rap in a while… Well… Hope you enjoy.”
Titled I Want To Be, the album will be a joint project with Jaguar Skills and is due for release on May 1st 2020.
Sway rose to stardom in the mid-noughties following the release of his well-received project, This Is My Demo, which featured his big hit “Little Derek”. Following the success of the tape, Sway enjoyed success overseas, delivering singles with big artists such as Akon.
In recent years, Sway has taken a break from music but it looks like his hiatus will end next week with the release of I Want To Be.
