Talksport have given us the lowdown on the top 10 richest football clubs in the world for 2016, but where do English teams rank? Or are there even any?
It turns out that English sides have dominated the list, taking up half the list, with Liverpool (9th), Chelsea (8th), Arsenal (7th), Manchester City (6th) and Manchester United (3rd) all making the cut.
The ranking is based solely around revenue figures released in January 2016 by all clubs.
Unsurprisingly, Spanish outfit Real Madrid top the list of riches, followed closely by fierce rivals Barcelona.
Despite their troubles on the field and their frivolous expenditure, Man Utd have managed to find themselves highly placed.
If anything, the list has signified the English dominance in the world of football financially, but unfortunately this has failed to translate in European competition of late – but time will tell.
Make sure you check out the video for all figures and ranking order.
