Tekashi 6ix9ine has testified to being behind the attempted murder and ordering the hit on Chicago’s Chief Keef.

Back in the summer of 2018 Chief Keef was the subject of a hit. The 24-year-old rapper was shot at outside a hotel in New York but was unharmed.

Tekashi told the court how he had agreed $20,000 (£16,000) for the hit with the gunman but later reduced the payment to $10,000 (£8,000) after the hitman missed the target.

The gunman pleaded guilty to assault with a deadly weapon earlier this year.

Tekashi also admitted to attacking Trippie Redd at his hotel in November 2017.

Expected to be sentenced in January 2020, 6ix9ine has now pleaded guilty to nine charges. This includes charges of racketeering conspiracy, multiple firearms offences and narcotics trafficking.
This means 6ix9ine could face at least 47 years in prison.
