Welcome back to #GRMFreshestOut, the one-stop place for the hottest tunes of the week. It’s that time of the week, where we turn our eyes stateside once again, to feed our ears with the best audio-treats the nation has to offer. Feast yourselves on this weeks 5-course offering, presented as always by Chef Griff.

Kendrick Lamar – King Kunta

King Kendrick has made waves with his sophomore release ‘To Pimp A Butterfly’, and still continues to do so. He rocks the boat a little more with the release of the visual for the outstanding funky track ‘King Kunta’, courtesy of Director X.

Kid Ink ft. DeJ Loaf – Be Real

It sounds like Kid Ink has got another hit on his hands, this time not alongside frequent collaborator Chris Brown. Instead, he’s enlisted Detroit’s very own DeJ Loaf to do what she does best and deliver an absolute ear-worm of a hook. Remember to check out our recent interview with DeJ here.

Young Thug – Check

Cash Money’s new heir Young Thug delivered the lead single from his controversially titled debut album The Carter VI  and it’s just what we’ve come to expect from the drug-addled serial mumbler. Although his lyrics might get lost in his unique, er, ‘flow’, you cannot deny the hit making potential inside this artist.

Rich Homie Quan – Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)

Next up on #GRMFreshestout is Young Thug’s partner-in-crime/former friend/possible lover Rich Homie Quan, who also has offered a totally off-the-wall new track. We low-key think this is a banger – do you-ooh-ooh-ooh?!

Tink – Ratchet Commandments

Rounding off this weeks list is a sick artist we’ve already featured on here a few times, Timbaland’s latest protege Tink. She releases the video for her mean-girl anthem ‘Ratchet Commandments’ , which takes all the ratchet gyals to church. Tink has recently inked a deal with Black Butter over here in the UK, so expect to hear and see a lot more of her in the coming future.
