With Apple Pay now being launched in the UK, you may want to know what you can expect from it. Well firstly Apple Pay will function like PayPal, however rather than entering card details, you will use your fingerprint to authenticate payments.

Once you have added your payment details on Apple Pay, here are 5 ways to use the new system:

1) Buy things in high street stores, limited to £20 for now.

2) Pay for your meal at restaurants; including KFC, Mcdeeeez and even a cheeky Nandos. But no Benihanas or STK (yet).

3) Bye Oyster Card. Bye bank card. You can now tap in and out at tube stations with Apple Pay.

4) You can pay online at various places including; Just Eat, Zara, lastminute.com and Domino’s.

5) Apple pay is available on your Apple watch, as well your iPhone of course.

The following banks will be offering Apple pay; NatWest, Nationwide, Ulster Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland and Santander. The other banks which include; HSBC, Halifax, Lloyds, TSB,Bank of Scotland and Marks & Spencer will join in the autumn. Barclays says it will offer Apple Pay in the future.
