Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, Warner Bros has been forced to push back the date of many of its movies and among those with rescheduled release dates is the highly-anticipated film, The Batman.

The film, which will star Robert Pattinson, was originally scheduled to hit cinemas on June 15th 2021 but has now been moved for a release date on October 1st 2021.

The Batman
isn’t the only DC film with a new release date as it was also announced that Shazam 2 has been pushed back by seven months to November 22nd 2022, while The Flash has been moved forward a month to June 2nd 2022.

Other big titles, such as King Richard starring Will Smith, have also received new release dates as many filming studios have had to halt the production of movies as a result of coronavirus.
