This week we’ve selected a handful of dark shoes to accompany the return to dark Autumn and Winter wardrobes.
Firstly we have one of the most interesting Huarache’s we’ve seen in the form of the newest addition to the Huarache Unity Pack. The much awaited Black and White edition brings a re-vamp to the original low-top Huarache with neoprene overlays and a mainly mesh construction.
Strong TPU heel support is found on the heel of the shoe, connected to the upper with nylon to reinforce the join. The outsole features higher traction, reinforced overlays and a Dynamic Flywire support making this edition slightly more durable than the standard silhouette. Next we have another buff noir pack from ASICS. The Shadow Pack features two shoes; the Gel Lyte V and the understated GEL Respector silhouette.
The Respector Black Shadow follows it’s original edition, featuring a multiple density construction with an EVA cushioned midsole. The shoe comes in an all-black colourway with subtle grey hints across the eyelets, ASICS logo on the tongue and leather ASICS branding on the upper. The Gel Lyte V version of the pack again comes in an all-black colourway across the upper, with perforations on the toe for added comfort. Our final shoe this week is the Nike Flyknit Chukka FSB in black, following its Charcoal and Green colourways. This innovative edition of the Chukka features a reflective toebox and heel counter, as well as a brand new fused mudguard to protect the shoes. The shoe’s upper is comprised of the Flyknit’s classic wool-blend with the added component of Flywire technology to improve aesthetics and comfort. The upper sits atop a phylon midsole and of course features Nike’s iconic swoosh.
