While The Game claims to be retired from rap, that didn’t prevent him from paying tribute to LA legends Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant in the animated video for “Welcome Home”.
The LA-centric visual, directed by Stefano Bertelli of Seen Film, sees The Game chilling out at a burger spot spitting some bars over a laid-back beat.
Throughout the video, an animated Bryant is shooting hoops at a park before the Compton star accompanies him. Later, Hussle joins the party, perched on top of his Marathon Clothing store, rapping his verse from The Game’s Born To Rap album.
