iOS 9.1 has been released and of course the most important addition to the operating system is the introduction of brand new emojis. The update brings 150 new emojis, including a burrito, cricket bat, and FINALLY the middle finger we’ve all been waiting for.
The update also includes a few software updates – Apple News is coming to the UK for the first time, and Settings now include a function that lets users disable photos for contacts.
Live Photos can now sense if you raise or lower your phone so that the app won’t record those movements, and the shift key on the keyboard has changed and now makes it clearer when the text is upper case or caps lock.
