The final episode of BBC Three’s The Rap Game UK is here and after an intense and testing competition, the contestants have one last chance to prove to the judges why they deserve the Play Dirty Record deal.
Last week, Zones, Lesha, Shogun, D Live, Ddroid and Graft were tasked with working with The Fanatix to produce and beat. The best instrumental of the bunch was chosen by the judges and each artist then recorded a verse on the track.
Later, the hopefuls met with Ayishat Akanbi who offered style and brand advice to the contestants before they filmed a music video with Ashleigh Jadee.
On this week’s episode, Zones, Lesha, Shogun, D Live, Ddroid and Graft move out of the luxury penthouse in Birmingham and head back home as they prepare for the final challenge.
The rappers must prepare a track to perform live on Kenny Allstar’s radio show.
Kenny Allstar is one of the most prolific DJs in UK music and he frequently lends his platform to up and coming artists by offering them airplay, freestyle sets, co-signs and more.
The hopefuls must impress Kenny as well as the audience in order to be in with a chance of winning the all-important record deal.
Before they start to prepare, the contestants are given some one-on-one mentoring time from Krept and Konan who offer constructive criticism and gems of advice.
The rappers all talk about their growth, personal battles and their achievements with the judges and it becomes apparent very quickly that all six rappers are in with a chance of winning the record deal.
With the competition coming to an end, you cannot afford to miss who is crowned the winner of BBC Three’s The Rap Game UK, series two.
