After losing one computer to wear and tear and a second to theft, New York-based 25 year old rapper Prince Harvey decided enough was enough, and completed an entire album with just his voice and a demo laptop at SoHo’s Apple Store.
“It wasn’t my plan to record this at the Apple Store”, the rapper, whose album took a mere four months to complete, told The Daily Beast. In true get-famous-or-die-trying fashion, he continued, “New York is expensive. I couldn’t just buy another laptop. I just thought, ‘I’m going to die before anyone knows I’m hot.'”
Harvey’s ‘Prince Harvey At The Apple Store: SoHo‘ (‘PHATASS‘ for short) will drop on the 26th of July.
