Tion Wayne returns with the surprise release of a brand new tune, called “Same Friends”, alongside its official music video.
The Edmonton don gets nostalgic on the same tune, making it known he’s kept the same circle since he started out in this rap ting, flowed effortlessly over a cloudy afroswing instrumental from hitmaker GA. The video follows the same narrative as the hook, as directors Marq and Ade OG literally show “the same friends on the bus to the school”, featuring a young Tion and his boys.
