Tis is the season to be jolly, eat and share presents, but oh no, the MC’s have other plans. Tis is the season of war dubs it seems.

So let us begin with So Large, who previously dropped his EP ‘500 Grams‘, which included his own version of Capo Lee’s track “Lift”. Capo wasn’t happy about this and both MC’s went in to one at the end of Rude Kid’s Christmas set, which if you missed out on, you can hear it below. This is basically where it all started from and GrimeForum has you covered on that.

On Christmas Day, So Large decided to drop a war dub for Capo Lee called “Shots”, where he mentioned that his version of “Lift” was better than Capo’s original. You can hear the dub here. Capo Lee replied soon after with his own war dub “Funeral Parlour”, where he mentions that even though he’s not been in the game that long, he is still the better MC. The dub is also produced by D.O.K and you can hear it here. Twitter has been crazy with the reception on both war dubs, claiming both MC’s are rated for sure. Where it goes from now, only time will tell, but keep it locked as we will keep you updated.

Now this isn’t all that has happened today, you must be asking yourself is there more? Of course there is. So we had Merky Ace put up a poll on his Twitter, where he asked the public if he should send for either Izzie Gibbs or Jammz. The poll was taken over by everyone responding with Jammz to be the chosen one. So of course Merky went ahead and dropped a dub this evening called “Farda“, where he mentioned that Jammz has taken his style and flow.

Jammz responded soon after with his dub “Merky Lemon“, and he wasn’t amused at all, as he referred to Merky Ace as a “sour lemon yout”. This is all for now but I’m sure there is more where that came from, so keep it locked right here.

Oh and of course Merry Christmas to you all 🙂
