It’s been a week since we released the final episode of our Together We Rise docuseries but now we’ve got a brand-new bonus instalment for you to enjoy.
We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary and Together We Rise focuses on the journey of GRM Daily since its emergence in 2009. As well as exploring the rise of GRM, the documentary also highlights the growth of grime and rap music in the UK – despite the many obstacles the genres have faced over the years.
Titled Extra Time, the bonus episode sees a number of big names including Skepta, Ms Banks, Jme, Stormzy, Julie Adenuga and more reflect on the start of their careers, the rise of Black British music in the UK, breaking the mould and more.
