Tom Cruise is in the early stages of development with SpaceX and NASA to become the first actor to star in an action-adventure film shot in outer space.
NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine announced the existence of the project in a tweet stating that it will likely be filmed at the International Space Station. The space station is situated 250 miles above Earth and is where a number of cutting-edge experiments and research is taken place.

Apparently the film will not be part of the Mission: Impossible franchise where Cruise has performed a series of high-octane gravity stunts, including hanging off a jet plane and more recently hanging out of a helicopter.
The goal of Elon Musk’s SpaceX programme is to send people to Mars and beyond, mainly celebrities. His SpaceX programme launched a rocket into space in 2018 carrying 141,000 pounds of cargo into space, a feat that he believed was not possible.
Now, it seems he wants to take on the next risky and difficult challenge of shooting a whole film in space.
