Creating a whole track in just one hour, can it be done?
Filmed and edited by Lordie, grime rappers Tommy B and AGz collab in the studio in order to take on the challenge. The terms are that every part of the track has to be created from scratch, meaning any pre-made beats are prohibited and only fresh lyrics can be used.
It’s always really interesting to get a closer look at the creative process, and as you would expect, starting with creating a beat is where things begin. Tommy B has a clear creative compass, as he is vocal about the instrumental tones of the track. The MCs also bring some friends along to the studio that are on hand offering some banter, this offers a light-hearted feel for the viewer.
