Top Boy fans rejoice! We’ve now been hit with the official launch date for season 4 of the crime drama series!
The official Top Boy Twitter account posted the date in a video on Twitter.
“We know you’ve been asking for the Top Boy date for a while now,” the tweet reads. “Here you go – on London’s biggest billboard so it can’t be missed. TOP BOY RETURNS MARCH 18.”
Due for release on Netflix on March 18th, Top Boy season 4 will follow on from the events of the third season and see Ashley Walters, Kano, Micheal Ward and Little Simz reprise their roles as Dushane, Sully, Jamie and Shelley.
The highly-anticipated third season of Top Boy arrived in September 2019 and received rave reviews all around, receiving a nomination for the 2020 Broadcast Awards. The series was also listed as one of the most popular Netflix series of 2019.
Season four of the series was expected to drop in 2020 but production was shut down due to the Covid pandemic. Filming then resumed towards the end of 2020.
