It has just been announced that the release of season three of Top Boy will be accompanied by a soundtrack inspired by the series.
The news was broken on social media, with the official Top Boy Twitter account sharing the cover art for the project.
At the moment, details regarding the project are very limited but given the prominence of musicians involved in the creation of season three, perhaps we can expect a few new tracks from a few of the them on the project. Among the list of artists who have participated in the upcoming season are Kano, Ashley Walters (Asher D), Dave, Little Simz and Drake.
News of a soundtrack for the third season of Top Boy comes almost a week after the cast and crew and many other big names in the scene took to Hackney Central for the premiere.
The new season of the show is due for release worldwide on Netflix this Friday (September 13).
