While the drops seem to be slowing down this month, there are still many options to grab for the cold winter months ahead. We’ve rounded up some of the hardest trainers being released this month to get your hands on.

TBC – Nike Air Max 95
“Freddy Krueger”

With halloween practically being cancelled this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, Nike is still looking to get us ready for the spooky occasion with their “Freddy Krueger” Air Max 95 model! With red and beige stripes, the trainer pays homage to the horror film character’s distinctive stripy top while the combo of mesh and suede materials add to the rough-looking feel of the shoe. Will you be copping the “Freddy Krueger” to keep the halloween vibe alive this year?

1st October – Off-White x Nike Rubber Dunk University Blue

The drop of the month is the latest collaboration between the ongoing partnership of Off-White and Nike. This time the duo have released the Air Rubber Dunk – a totally new silhouette taking influences from the Dunk and Nike Pegasus lines.

The University Blue colourway is being released exclusively in Europe and as always the pair will be extremely limited. The uppers are seen shining in a metallic silver colour while blue detailing, gum soles and the iconic Off-White x Nike orange zip tie completes the look. Don’t wait on these, they won’t be around for long.

3rd October –
Slam Jam x Nike Dunk High White Pure Platinum

The Slam Jam x Nike Dunk High White Pure Platinum is one of two brand-new colourways of the Dunk High releasing in collaboration with the legendary Italian streetwear boutique Slam Jam.

The clear platinum colour blocking is ultra clean, with light grey detailing and gummy Swooshes creating a contemporary feel – overall, a well considered colour scheme. While this colourway is due to drop on the 3rd, the White/Black colourway is rumoured for the 30th.

3rd October – Nike Air Max 90 Safari Black Orange

The legendary safari print, loved by many, is back in a Black/Orange colourway. The orange accents make the shoe not hard to miss, sitting neatly next to the suede mudguards. White and black patterns appear on each lace for additional detailing, all in all pulling off the famed safari print look perfectly. A perfect cold weather set of trainers.

10th October – PSG x Jordan 4 White Neutral Grey Bordeaux

This is the shoe the football fans have been waiting for. PSG and Jordan collaborations always result in some pretty impressive garments – such as the PSG jersey – and now the football team and sports brand are set to join forces to deliver a clean pair of Jordan 4s.

The Paris Saint-Germain F.C. x Nike AJ4 boasts a clean white leather colourway with bold Bordeaux accents for the perfect amount of colour. However, the shoe interestingly strays away from the football club’s usual black, blue and red colour scheme. In terms of finer details, a small “Paname” tag is stitched onto the lateral side as a nickname to Paris, and the legendary co-branded rubber badge adorns the heel in black, for a simple yet striking aesthetic feature.

The PSG AJ4 is already being regarded as Jordan and PSG’s best collab yet so we can definitely expect these to be a hit with sneakerheads when they drop.

14th October – Jordan 1 Retro High OG Lucky Green

A green colourway doesn’t get more beautiful than these. This AJ1 release  holds similarities to one of the most hyped Nike Dunks, known as the “Heineken Dunks”. The classic colour blocking is seen in contrasting green and white panels, while the Nike Air logo and wings logo appear in red. These are to die for.

31st October – Jordan 1 Dark Mocha

This Halloween drop is highly reminiscent of the extremely successful Travis Scott AJ1s.
The brown and black tones are neatly balanced with white panels for a well-considered colourway, while the shoe stays in tune with all it’s classic detailing.

More trainers may be announced for a later October release but for now, check back in for your hottest trainers of November in our next edition of Top Tier Trainers.
