With his eagerly-anticipated Chixtape 5 project dropping next week, Tory Lanez has gifted us with a single from the tape entitled “Jerry Spunger”.
Tory’s Chixtape series has become popular with fans because of the Canadian artist’s tendency to remix classic R&B tracks and that’s exactly what he does on “Jerry Sprunger”. Containing a sample of T-Pain’s 2005 hit “I’m Sprung”, the latest single from Tory Lanez sees him put a modern spin on the track, accompanied by T-Pain himself who provides the track with some fresh vocals.
The two appear in the visuals directed by Midjordan which pay homage to the original track and the early 2000s era of music.
If “Jerry Spunger” is anything to go by, we can expect big things from Chixtape 5 when it drops next week (November 15).
Be sure to watch the visuals to “Jerry Sprunger” above.
