Draped in light cream, starfish and dark hazel, the colourway of Travis Scott’s new Nike collaboration screams inventiveness.
The Houston rapper already takes the music industry by storm, and most recently, the world of sneakers.
Offering up his talents on designs prior to the 270’s, Scott has embraced more traditional models like the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1. This spring, however, sees the focus switch on to Nikes newer model, the Air Max 270 React.
Intricate details at the back of the shoe and insole expose the rappers branding “Cactus Jack”, graphically boasting a smiley face with a swoosh as a mouth and the rapper’s moniker – not to mention adding extra striping to its body and removing its usual dominant swoosh mid-foot.
Implementing an earthy feel to the trainer, the shoe is set to release in March 2020, perfect timing for spring, retailing at $190 (£145).
