It seems like everyday we’re getting a combination of bizarre, hilarious and ultimately terrifying Trump news, and today is no different.

The leader of the free world’s latest antics have come in the wake of the Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe’s visit to the White House, which has been filled with enough blunders you’d mistake it for an Seth Rogen movie.

Getting things off to a bad start, the Prime Minister’s car seemed to have difficulty navigating around the White House grounds and ended up having to do a three point turn to avoid bussing through the West Wing. Not Trumps fault, but awkward none the less.

Then, during their official greeting, Trump for some reason decided to shake the don’s hand for almost twenty seconds before simply stating “strong hands”. This prompted Abe to look like he literally wanted to duck there and then.

But weirdest of all, was what happened at Abe’s official White House speech. The Prime Minister addressed those present in his native tongue, a common practice when foreign leaders attend the White House.

However, Trump neglected to noticed that he had an ear bud on his podium, which had he worn, would have provided a translated version of the speech. Instead, Trump smiled, nodded and even laughed at Abe’s jokes all the while totally unaware of what was being said. Now it’s possible that Trump speaks Japanese, but it’s far more likely that man just blagged it.

Towards the end of the speech he clocked the earpiece and put it in, so at least he got the end. Trump and Abe are now spending the weekend golfing in Florida with their wives.
