Tyson Fury has announced his retirement from boxing. In a Tweet posted this afternoon, he didn’t hold back on what his true feelings are about the sport.
The news comes after a career long-maligned with controversial incidents, most recently making headlines for testing positive for cocaine usage.
He faced being stripped of his WBA WBO and IBF belts, as well as losing his title of Heavyweight world champion.
The 28-year-old recently pulled out of his title defence fight against Wladimir Klitscho, set for October 29th, after being declared “medically unfit” on the 23rd of September.
