Just a week after their fight last weekend, the trilogy rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder has been confirmed.
Set to take place in Las Vegas on July 18th this year, the two fighters will go head-to-head in what will be their third match-up.
Wilder exercised the rematch clause over the weekend, with Tyson Fury’s promoter in the States – Bob Arum – telling ESPN: “”Now we will sit down and go through all the details for the fight.”
Arum added: “It’s after the basketball play-offs, baseball is in the middle of the season and there’s no [American] football,” he added.
“It’s the ideal time. The hotel, MGM Grand, also believes it to be an ideal time.”
Anticipation for their third fight is high as boxing fans are keen to see who will come out on top as their first bout in 2018 ended as a draw, followed by Tyson Fury’s defeat last month on February 22nd.
