Uber are making plans to expand its services for 2019 by introducing an “Amazon Prime” style subscription service.

A ‘Ride Pass’ is available in five cities being Los Angeles, Austin, Orland, Denver and Miami for $14.99 where riders can lock in flat rates on all the UberX and UberPool trips they take over the course of that month.

The rates will be discounted and you could save up to 15% overall on monthly travel and there are no limit to the number of rides customers can take each month. Each customer will be able to track they are saving on every ride with real time updates. This service is auto renewed so that you won’t forget to renew.

Uber isn’t the first service to experiment with subscriptions as “Lyft” created an ‘all action plan’ after several months of pilots. The service was alot of money which is why Uber have created a low price to get customers to use the service.

The subscription service is currently available in the U.S. but is likely to roll out internationally in the future.
