The U.S. government cannot explain 143 out of 144 UFO sightings

In a new report, the US government has said that they do not have an explanation for 143 out of 144 reported UFO sightings.

The Pentagon report did not rule out that the items were extra-terrestrial and was unable to explain the majority of the sightings which date back to 2004.

In the report, the authors wrote: “The limited amount of high-quality reporting on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) hampers our ability to draw firm conclusions about the nature or intent of UAP,”

It continues, “We were able to identify one reported UAP with high confidence. In that case, we identified the object as a large, deflating balloon. The others remain unexplained.”

The lack of closure offered by report has left American security officials worried about what the UFOs could be and if they pose a national security risk.

In a statement, Marco Rubio, a politician of the Senate intelligence committee, said, ‘The defence department and intelligence community have a lot of work to do before we can actually understand whether these aerial threats present a serious national security concern.”

This news comes after Lieutenant Ryan Graves, a former Navy pilot, spoke to US outlet 60 Minutes before the report was released and said that pilots on training flights have seen UFOs every day for at least a couple of years.

He said, “I am worried, frankly. You know, if these were tactical jets from another country that were hanging out up there, it would be a massive issue.

“But because it looks slightly different, we’re not willing to actually look at the problem in the face. We’re happy to just ignore the fact that these are out there, watching us every day.”
