UK musicians from the scene are taking over the world. It’s great to see artists that have been putting in work for so long finally get the recognition and the respect that they deserve, and not just from the fans, but from their peers.
Drake co-signs aside, musicians from our scene have really have been garnering all the right kinds of attention. Most recently both Wiley and Skepta have been credited as writers on the long awaited Kanye West album Ye.
Another great achievement from a UK musician that may have flown under the radar of some of our more casual fans, is that UK producer Beat Butcha has been credited as a producer on Beyonce and Jay Z’s joint album Everything is Love.
Beat Butcha has been in the game for almost two decades now and has worked with some of the biggest names in the scene, from underground hip hop heavyweights Triple Darkness, to legends like Jehst, Klashnekoff and Ghetts. “Salud” is the track that Butcha is credited for.
