UKNWN has released his 22 EP alongside visuals for his new single “To The Moon”.
Although we can’t see his face, the masked rapper isn’t any less memorable as the Londoner has created his own distinctive take on the wavy trap sound in the UK. His trademark balaclava is a tribute to all the misfits and outcasts of the world with whom he identifies.
“To the Moon’ highlights UKNWN’s love for gaming, with a Grand Theft Auto inspired, retro, and spacey aesthetic combined with his wavy sound as he manages to demonstrate a deep understanding of how words flow on different tempos.
Describing the track in his own words, UKNWN said: “To The Moon is supposed to be a vibe. Ultimately, it’s a reflection of the vibes in the studio when it was made.”
Produced by Jaime La Cree, “To The Moon” is the third track to be taken from UKNWN’s 22 EP which dropped today (June 19).
