After it was announced that the Nokia 3310 phone would be re-released, noughties nostalgia fans and trappers alike rejoiced.

Now the iconic handset has returned to shops and will be available to purchase this week. At just £49 the phone offers a cheap alternative to a market flooded with expensive smart phones.

Andrew Wilson, Buying Director at Carphone Warehouse said, “We’ve had a phenomenal response to the launch of the Nokia 3310 and customers who pre-registered with Carphone Warehouse will have the opportunity to be the first to get their hands on the device as stock at launch is limited.

“We’re contacting all our pre-reg customers to let them know we’re opening up online orders for them a day early on the 23rd May, and on the 24th May we’re hosting a special event at our 262 Oxford Street store where customers will also be able to buy the Nokia 3310.

More details coming soon as we approach one of the most anticipated launches of the year.
