In recent years we’ve experienced wars, pandemics and recessions, but is the next saga for humanity set to be contact with aliens?
The Pentagon has announced that a third UFO has been shot down over American airspace in less than two weeks.
Spotted over Lake Huron on Sunday, President Joe Biden ordered a fighter jet to bring the unidentified and unmanned octagonal structure down, after two recent similar incidents.
Glen VanHerck, the US Air Force General, said, “I’ll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out. I haven’t ruled out anything.
“At this point we continue to assess every threat or potential threat, unknown, that approaches North America with an attempt to identify it.”
However, although conspiracy theorists may immediately jump to an alien conclusion, there is perhaps another explanation.
On February 4th, a large balloon from China was shot down over South Carolina, believed to be a surveillance device, although Chinese officials have denied this.
It’s possible that this slew of sightings is no coincidence and that after discovering that first UFO, the US government has now gained the capability to find more, hence the three further incidents.
That being said, the US are yet to officially confirm or deny anything, so alien interference is not off the cards just yet.
