Usher has returned and this time, the R&B king has called upon south London’s Ella Mai for a smooth collaboration entitled “Don’t Waste My Time”.
With the instrumental being one which can easily be associated with the old-school, early 2000’s Usher, the sound has a real feeling of nostalgia. Usher comes into the song first which his flawless melodies as his vocal range is tested for all its ability. As Ella Mai enters, her equally as flawless voice adds a different energy, as the pair then harmonise fluently, complimenting each other’s talents perfectly.
